Gili Trawangan has many glass bottom boats for hire that can take you around Gili Trawangan, or to Gili Meno and Gili Air, to experience the magical beauty of the reefs. The boat captains will bring you to safe snorkelling sites where you will observe the abundant colourful sea life and have a chance to catch a glimpse of the giant sea turtles.
The Stud Stables on Gili Trawangan have a choice of well trained horses available for hire. You can enjoy safe riding along the sandy beaches and the quiet roads going through the coconuts plantations of the island with no cars or traffic. All rides are accompanied by an experienced guide.
Off the southern end of the island is a right hand break called Secrets, where the local boys are more than welcoming to travelling surfers. The spot itself is a little fickle, but when it starts breaking it really cranks and produces flawless barrels which for intermediate / advanced standard surfers can be exhilarating. Fast waves breaking over shallow coral make for an adrenaline packed surf. Surf boards can be rented locally.

Most worthy of a visit on Lombok are the spectacular waterfalls at Senaru and the trek to the top of the volcano, Mount Rinjani.Senarau Waterfalls are situated at the base of Mount Rinjani. The falls are very picturesque and well worth the short hike down to the falls where the cool water awaits you.
