Mataram is the capital of Lombok and is easily accessed with international flights from Singapore through Silk Air three times a week. Merpati Airlines also fly from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a number of other carriers fly daily from Jakarta and other major Indonesian cities. Most international flights arrive into Denpasar, Bali. For those arriving into Bali there are several options for transfering to the Gili islands.
Getting here by air There are daily flights from Denpasar (Bali) to Praya (Lombok) and it only takes 25 minutes with Garuda, Merpati Airline, Trigana Air and Transnusa Airline.

After arriving into Lombok, an air conditioned car and driver can meet you. Take either the picturesque monkey forest or the spectacular curving coastal road with stunning views of the Gili Islands. Great tasters of Lombok’s beauty. Then only a 10 minute speedboat ride to get to Gili Trawangan where Gili Joglo staff will be awaiting your arrival.
Getting here by sea Daily fast boat services operate from Serangan Harbour and Padang Bai in Bali to Gili Trawangan. The journey takes around two and half hours, service includes transfer from your hotel to the harbour. Companies offering these services are for example Gilicat, Blue Water Cruises and Gili Getaway.
